I view myself as very autodidactic. I enjoy learning independently, but I also really enjoy non-traditional forms of group learning led by teachers, just outside of academia. I am often enrolled in some kind of long term course led by a brilliant independent teacher who I respect and admire greatly. My ongoing studies, self-led and taught by others, deeply impact my astrological practice, my work with Devotion Recovery, and my creative writing. Outside of academia I have taken courses on tarot reading, creative writing, journaling, conflict integration, biology, first aid, sexual violence victim advocacy, figure drawing, and more.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in religious studies, and it is important for me to mention this because I believe that there are many Ways Of Knowing, and my religious studies background broadened this belief in me.

From 9-to-5 since 2020, I have been doing marketing and communications work.
